From Lighthouse USA-592.....

The Five Flags Amateur Radio Association (FFARA) once again operated as
"Special Event Station W4UC", from the lighthouse on Pensacola NAS
in Pensacola, Florida.

The Special Event Station operated January 1st, on 20,15 and 6 meters.
Stations contacting W4UC at the lighthouse may receive a W4UC
special event QSL card. QSL info at http://www.qrz.com/ .

The lighthouse marked its 145th anniversary on New Year's Day, 2004. The
Coast Guard and U.S. Navy restored the lighthouse and keeper's quarters in
1994.

Gerald (AI4DE) made his first HF contact, WA6MBL from
the station. Thanks, Bob, WA6MBL!
